Paul is a property, conveyancing and private client lawyer with over 9 years of experience helping clients with their legal issues and transactions.  
 

Paul has extensive experience in all areas of property law and conveyancing from first home buyers getting on the property ladder through to complex subdivisions and difficult commercial property negotiations and everything in between.

​

Paul also helps clients with their personal legal issues involving trusts, wills, enduring powers of attorney and estate management.  He also assists older clients when moving into retirement villages and signing up for occupation right agreements.

​

Paul is described as a safe pair of hands.  That means that Paul looks after his clients with a high level of attention to detail and care.

​

Outside of work you will find Paul sailing his 1976 Chico 355 yacht 'Grantham Flyer' on the Hauraki Gulf or fixing fences and chasing cows on his 8.5 hectare lifestyle block.

Kiara Powney

Kiara is a recently admitted barrister and solicitor, practicing in property and private client law with a focus on residential property conveyancing, trusts, and estate planning.

​

With a strong academic background in law and politics, Kiara brings a sharp analytical mindset to her legal work. She advises on a range of residential property matters, including first-home purchases, cross-lease and unit title issues, refinancing, and property transfers involving trusts. Kiara is experienced in reviewing and negotiating agreements for sale and purchase and managing complex due diligence matters including review of LIMs, land covenants, and consent notices.

Kiara also supports clients with their personal legal needs, including the preparation of wills, enduring powers of attorney, and trust documentation. She understands the importance of making legal processes clear and accessible, particularly for first-home buyers and families navigating estate or succession planning.

Known for her efficiency, attention to detail, and empathetic communication style, Kiara is committed to delivering high-quality legal services with professionalism and care. Fluent in six languages, she values working with clients from diverse backgrounds and is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive legal experience.

 

Outside of work, Kiara enjoys going to the gym and keeping active, spending time with her dog and family, and travelling.
